What’s the latest out there in the real estate market?
Prices jumped up in July 4.4% in just one month and year over year we are up 8.1%. But the big story continues to be the low inventory levels with our active inventory 45% of what it was this same time last year. So we are down to only 1.6 months of inventory which is considered a shortage in the marketplace. Buyers are out there in force taking advantage of the low rates and great opportunities to purchase with little money down and payments lower than what they are paying for in rent. It’s really is an unprecedented time in our market.
